With decades of experience across documentary and drama, Prisca is passionate about storytelling and editing craft.
Her editing work has been acknowledged with numerous awards - including Best Editing at the New Zealand Television Awards in 2023 and 2022, for her work on A Mild Touch of Cancer and Funny As. She was also awarded Best Editing at the Qantas Media Awards 2010 for feature documentary There Once Was An Island.
In addition to editing, Prisca also directs. Her films have screened at major international festivals including: Hot Docs, Dok Leipzig, Palm Springs, DOC NYC, NZIFF and Cork, among others. Her films Le Taxidermiste, After Life and Egg Cup Requiem have all gone on to win awards at significant festivals in New Zealand, and overseas.
In 2020, Prisca was commissioned by Jane Campion to direct a documentary following the making of her 2021 film The Power of the Dog.
She is currently co-directing and editing the short dramas Lion Rock, made as part of Jane Campion’s A Wave in the Ocean film intensive, and NZFC funded short drama School Night, both set for release in 2025.
